Peach & Pawmetto is small hobby breeder of Multigenerational Bernedoodles, based in the Columbus GA, Smiths Station AL area. With our adult breeding dogs living in guardian homes in family settings through South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama & Florida.

At Peach & Pawmetto, we believe that ethical breeding goes far beyond producing beautiful puppies. Our commitment begins long before a litter is born and continues throughout the lifetime of every dog in our program. We firmly believe that how our adult dogs are raised, cared for, trained, and loved is just as important as the intentional care and development of our puppies.

 

At Peach & Pawmetto, we are deeply committed to the stewardship of the Bernedoodle cross and the thoughtful preservation and advancement of its future through responsible breeding practices, including careful pedigree evaluation, ethical pairing decisions, and a lifelong commitment to every dog we produce. We believe responsible breeding also means being transparent, continuing our education, and remaining accountable for the health and wellbeing of our lines for generations to come. We carefully make decisions that prioritize health, temperament, structure, and the long-term wellbeing of every puppy we produce. Our adult dogs undergo comprehensive health testing and are raised with intentional training, enrichment, socialization, and ongoing development to ensure they thrive both physically and emotionally.

 

We work closely with trusted veterinary professionals, including Auburn University’s reproductive veterinary program for health testing and theriogenology services, as well as Dr. Brown, who travels to us for puppy exams and vaccinations. In addition, we proudly offer a two-year health guarantee covering congenital conditions, along with 30 days of pet insurance coverage through our partnership with Trupanion for every puppy we place.

 

From the very beginning, our puppies are raised with purpose. We incorporate early sensory introduction and neurological stimulation protocols designed to support confidence, resilience, adaptability, and calm, stable temperaments. Every stage of development matters to us, and we are passionate about giving our puppies the strongest possible foundation for life.

 

Peach & Pawmetto Bernedoodles is not a puppy broker, and we do not support or allow the resale or independent rehoming of our dogs. Every placement is approached with tremendous care and responsibility. Should a situation ever arise where a family is no longer able to provide a forever home for one of our dogs, our contract requires that the dog be returned directly to Peach & Pawmetto so that we can personally oversee the process of finding the best possible family fit for that dog.

 

Peach & Pawmetto puppies are placed as pet-home-only companions. We carefully vet each family prior to placement, and all pet-home puppies are placed on strict spay and neuter agreements as part of our commitment to responsible breeding practices and lifelong stewardship of our lines. While our primary focus is companion & therapy placements, we are open to selective collaborations with other small, like-minded breeders who share our values surrounding ethics, health, temperament, structure, and responsible breeding practices. 

 

We are highly intentional in the vetting process for families who inquire about our program and interview for waitlist placement. In most cases, our puppies are reserved well in advance because we prioritize responsible, lifelong home placement over quick availability or financial gain.

 

At Peach & Pawmetto, our focus has never been on volume — it has always been on quality, ethics, transparency, and the long-term well-being of every dog we produce.

 

Cleanliness, health management, and disease prevention are among our highest priorities. We maintain extremely diligent cleaning and sanitation protocols, structured deworming schedules, and proactive fecal testing out of an abundance of caution to help protect the health and well-being of all dogs and puppies in our care.

 

Above all else, we strive to always do the right thing — for our dogs, our puppies, and the families who trust us. We understand that bringing a puppy into the world is a responsibility, not simply a transaction, and we approach that responsibility with the seriousness, integrity, and care it deserves.
